Bruce McCulloch, one of the founding members of The Kids in the Hall, delivers a sensitive comedy about lasting marital relationships. After being kicked out of his house for cheating on his wife, Walter Pearce (Ray Liotta) enlists the help of neighbor Skylar Eckerman, an injured high school football star, to help win her back. In return, Walter helps Skylar regain the confidence to overcome his injury. Aided by a strong supporting cast, Liotta demonstrates a range beyond his usual tough-guy roles.

I don't know if this movie was supposed to be funny or a farce or one of those rom-coms that usually star Matthew McConaughey and Kate Hudson, but all I saw was a guy who made two mistakes. He cheated on his wife. He told her. The rest of the movie was spent watching these three women torture him. There is nothing fun about that. And Ray Liotta needs to learn to close his mouth when he isn't talking. I'm just saying.
