Webb Wilder, the 'last of the full-grown men", lumbers through a shadowy southern gothic underworld flush with casino cash, trailer trash and alien invaders in this definitive black and white 'Hillbilly-Noir" comedy compilation. Webb's short THE SAUCER'S REIGN became a cult classic on the A&E Network and USA Network's Nighflight in the late 1980's spawning a rock band, a recording career and the two other films included here (HORROR HAYRIDE and SCATTERGUN). Webb's films blend "southern fried surrealism" (New York Daily News) with "fertile field of free-form word play that reflects a literary undepinning"(Los Angeles Times) resulting in a uniquely droll comic tone that has earned fans nationwide.
