Oliver Stone | Opening Night Film
Is Oliver Stone a graduate of Gus Van Sant's school of shitty directing or is it the other way round? What separates Van Sant's stupid movies from Stone's stupid (recent) movies is that at least Van Sant's stylistic choices (ie. lighting, wardrobe, overall look of a shot) don't look like a fucking Mad TV sketch.

Great movie. The dialog was crisp without over-selling it (ahem, Diablo, I'm looking at you). But the best part was that the concept didn't get in the way of the script.
