In a last ditch attempt to save a small financially strapped church, the parishioners decide to make a horror movie to raise the necessary funds. Despite a lack of knowledge, the film is progressing nicely until an insidious right-wing religious group decides to make an example of them before they can complete the task. The entire filmmaking process spins out of control as the media attention grows larger and larger. Bartholomee and Ruiz’ commentary on organized religion boasts a who’s who of the Austin Acting community.

I was sadly often brought out of the movie due to the poor production (sound and lighting) quality. I understand this is small budget, but I felt I saw much better work in the young filmakers shorts than here.
Besides that, I felt the script was a bit too ambitious. There were so many characters and yet many of them I didn't really connect to. For instance I didn't fully understand some of the characters' involvement with the church. The performances were mixed but still enjoyed throughout and overall thought the film was fun and had some really funny momments.
