A rock guitar and classical violin realize they make beautiful music together.
Dark Matters
Love is a tricky little devil. It has the power to command great sacrifice from those it touches. Enter Justin. A loser who’s most exciting moment in any given day is the house salad/no dressing that he orders on his lunch break from corporate HateMyJob. When a bizarre and curiously naive woman named April shows up in his life, he is forever changed…until April is mysteriously kidnapped by demons. From singing demons, to talking hands, dancing bartenders and human sized rats, Justin’s love is put to the ultimate test. Love is Hell and Hellish love is funny.
Shorts
There are no limits to how far a friendship will go.
Austin Screens
Love & Tambourines is a feature length documentary-ish film about a girl who loves tambourines. When approaching a topic one must look with objective eyes. We must pull back and look at things from all perspectives. Our film attempts this feat in the form of a postmodern essay on the topics of love and tambourines. It explores these topics and their overlap through man on the street interviews, live music performances and the story of two single friends spending Valentine’s Day together.
Shorts
Two little bug-lovers find love.
Shorts
Kittens and kids – more alike than you think.
Marquee Screenings
What if you were a Hollywood movie star with an obsession for cars and racing? You would probably read every script with even the tiniest link to the subject matter, in hopes that you could tell a great car story the likes of Grand Prix, Le Mans or Mad Max. Then one day you open your garage door and sitting there, right in front of you, is the inspiration that gets you thinking about that old saying, “If you want something done right…” Eric Bana has now unwillingly cast himself in his own real life drama, and it is a love story between Eric and the car he has owned since he was fifteen. We follow him from inside the race car to the surreal world of the red carpet. The personal and social pressures mount up in the face of re-building a car that means so much to him.
Shorts
It’s hard to make the right moves, even when you know all the steps.
